Last night we were photographing along Bourbon street, not late like 9:30. We just met Ruben Israel and had made his photos and started up the 400 block when I heard 4 pops that I knew was pistol fire, the crowd all moved very fast in one direction, I knew what this was so I grabbed Aimee and pulled her to a side street. This was taken a few minutes later. I love NOLA but have always said this town is awash in too many guns.
