A Busy Week at the Tyson Studio

Was able to get a shoot in at Tyson on sunday

with one of my favorite models who has also been

working with me consistently since 1984. We were 

in sync that day and I got some great new

work for the portfolio.

Very happy to finally get my friend

Aimee into the Tyson studio. The last time

I was able to photograph her was 2006, so 

a shoot was long overdue. She's got a terrific

camera presence.

Landscapes along La. Hwy #1

Drove to Grand Isle today and made as many photos along

hwy 1 as the weather/light allowed. Toward mid day the

light got really flat and hot, later in the afternoon, a series of

thunder clouds rolled in, and it turned gray flat. Such

is the life of a landscape photographer.

Building on the work I started last

summer, I was able to begin shooting

this week out at Tyson. Lucky enough to

have my old photo pal Susan in town

for a photo shoot out at Tyson studio.

I did a studio lighting demo this week with a Ring Flash

to my junior majors. He's a cool photo of my fellow photo

faculty Ika and myself.

Photographing in the Missouri bootheel

Never miss a chance to photograph an airplane on a stick 

for my friend Jim Stone. Found this one in a part in

Caruthersville, Mo.
