While in New Orleans recently I was able to do some tests with my new Nikon Z7 and the new for Nikon In Body Image Stabilization system they have out in the new camera.
The system worked great, these image were shot at ISO 1600, at f4 and a 1/4" hand held without any camera support or tripod!
I don't often approve of the phrase "game changing" but it really is apt in this case, this new system will really change the way I photograph Mardi Gras at night, the combination of the ISO ability and the IBIS will pretty much mean I will not longer be tethered to a flash system.
This is my third blog, and this one will more generally address my photography and not include either the self portrait project or the work from my trips to Italy.

Susan
I was lucky enough to have Susan visit the Tyson studio and sit for me again this year for what turned out to be the last nude photo shoot of the Tyson studio season. It's now just too cold out there to even do a clothed shoot and its too expensive ($800 a month) to heat the place. Still a great shoot where I was able to use my new Nikon Z7 and also make some 5x7 and 8x10 exposures of her.
