This is my third blog, and this one will more generally address my photography and not include either the self portrait project or the work from my trips to Italy.
At least once during every visit to NOLA I try to make it to Holt, this Mardi Gras we managed some time between rain storms to make a visit and some photographs. A very special place.
It seems its become my practice now that when visiting New Orleans the first stop I make is a short photo trip to what we have started calling Bart's Landing. It's a kind of inspirational and homage to Bart Parker who's ashes we scattered there. It's a quiet reflective place and there are often photographs "hovering around" as Bart was fond of saying.
