Watson Battery charger
I don't often post reviews of gear, there are lots of other blog sites that do that, but I recently purchased a new battery charger and I think its worth noting. When I travel to events like Mardi Gras I bring ALL the gear, the Nikon D810, the Fuji Xpro, the Sony and of course all the various Apple gear. Its a lot of chargers and I have started traveling with my own power strip to accommodate all these devices. I recently was reading something Tom Hogan wrote and he mentioned the Watson battery charger. Its a duo charger that is a rapid charger and can be used with a range of batteries with the right adapter plates. The best thing about this charger is that it also indicates the charge level and even can indicate the charge level when not plugged in. Its a very robust unite with heavy duty cords and comes with a very well made 12V car power supply. (it even has a USB port on the side) I got mine with the Fuji and Nikon plates and it can charge two different batteries at once, so thats a big plus for me.
I am not sponsored or linked to any commercial site (so don't think I'm driving business to any site), but I did a lot of research on this purchase and ended up getting mine on amazon.com. If you have
a few digital devices, I'd urge you to check this out.

New Camera on order!
At Last, the announcement I've been waiting for (for like the past 6 months), the new Fuji Xpro 2 camera is now in the wild! I hope to get one in time for Mardi Gras but I fear thats a long shot.
I've always loved the feel of my Xpro 1 but the short coming of a 16 mp sensor, the
limitations of the AF system made it almost unusable at events like MG in NOLA. All that seems to
have been addressed in the camera, stay tuned for images!
