Nude, Elmers Island, La.

This last trip to Louisiana the weather was pretty wet most of the
week with the exception of the day we headed south to Grand Isle.
It was so warm and wonderful that day that when asked, my photo
co-pilot was happy to indulge me and posed on the beach. This location
is pretty remote and offered lots of privacy for a photo shoot.

Holt Cemetery, New Orleans, La.

It seems no matter how often you visit this place, there is
always something new to see. Holt is a pretty unique cemetery
especially in an urban environment. Not sure what the top one
is about, the two pair of shoes, one a mans and the other a womans
and a broken bowl in between, but there is was.

Holy Cross at the River

A pretty magical visit to the place along the river I call "Bart's Landing".
The fog was all over the river and it had been raining most of the
day, as soon as we got the levee the sun came out just enough
to light the whole place up, a pretty special photo visit where there
was no shortage of photos "hovering around" as Bart used to say.

Lakeside

There is something about that long horizon line and the space between
the water and sky that I am so attracted to. Especially when there
are aa few elements in the water breaking up the composition. A day
where the rain was on and off, but it was warm enough.
