I have had problems with both my D7000 and D800 back focusing, the D800 even made a trip back to Nikon for AF repairs. To no avail. I have been putting off doing the AF fine tuning as I thought it too complicated and just defaulted to manual focus mode. I recently viewed some uTube videos and spent the time to figure it all out. Turned out every single one of my AF lenses on both bodes needed some form of adjustment.
I would encourage anyone with a D7000 or D800 to spend time and go thru the AF fine tuning procedure, its not as hard as it seems, and will make a difference.
This is my third blog, and this one will more generally address my photography and not include either the self portrait project or the work from my trips to Italy.

Epson 4900 nozzle problems
I had a really persistent LC nozzle clog in my 18 month old Epson 4900. From my readings on the Internet, it seemed to be a common problem with all the 9900 series printers and I would need a new print head at around $1,000. In desperation, I found this Utube video and with some modification of their solution, damn if it didn't work. I have my printer back! All Hail Windex with Ammonia D
